The story behind the counter
William Berger has spent over a decade in the ammo business—working every level of the operation from warehouse and cashier to store leadership and regional management. He’s helped thousands of customers learn what they need, what they don’t, and how to buy it in California without the headache.
When the San Diego store became available for local ownership, William stepped in to keep serving the community he’d been helping for years. Today, he still works the floor—because he believes the best ammo shop is one where the owner is present, the process is fast, and the customer leaves confident.

Age requirements depend on the type of ammo and firearm you own, and California law changes over time. Reach out and we can explain what applies to your situation and point you to the latest official rules.
We focus on ammunition and accessories. Our goal is to be the most efficient, customer-friendly ammo house in San Diego.
By law, ammo sales are generally final. We do stand behind defective ammo from manufacturers on a case-by-case basis if it’s in the same condition it left the store. See our Policies page for details.
No returns on opened products. Unopened items may usually be returned until the end of the calendar month of purchase with the original receipt.
We usually respond to emails and contact forms within a couple of hours during business hours. Calls and texts are answered as quickly as possible while we’re open.
